Skweezer versus Weblogs, Inc.

This About.com article by William Hungerford captures the essence of a debate between a professional weblogging company that pays bloggers for their services (Weblogs, Inc.) and a mobile reformatting portal that lets you visit your favorite sites from a PDA or mobile phone in a manner better suited to the smaller screen (Skweezer). At issue is whether Skweezer’s reformatting strips away ads that generate revenue for the professional bloggers when used to visit their weblogs in favor of substituting it’s own ads. I like Skweezer, it works well and provides the content you need in a format that works. It’s an interesting debate. I agree with the article’s conclusion that professional bloggers should work with Skweezer for their mutual gain.
